Lets face it, it can be hard to get on the list or stand in a line for free items you need during the holidays for your children. So i had an idea.... thanks to a heated discussion with my brother about the salvation army scandal, and talking to a friend that always likes to give to nonprofits during the holiday...i am thinking of creating a donation/ drive for our neighborhood. I was thinking of having a flier to pass out and gather donations of clothes, toys, cash ect. Also a way for people who need things to post/email/write what they need or would like for their children.. and i would match donations to families and cash would be used to buy gifts i didn't get donated (signed donation card with cash so everyone knows I'm not pocketing it lol) . Only for the neighborhoods around the area of where i am at this year, as a starting place.
Do you think this a good / obtainable thing to do? Should i waste my time? Would you give if i just walked up to your door or left a flier where to drop off? I value and need your opinions!
